+What is possible?

Anything you can imagine! We will guide you with recommendations based on the current trends and solid experience in creating websites that people love to use.

+What do I need to know?

Just that you want to create a website. Other than that you need little or no business or technical expertise – that's what we're here for. Similarly, we are just as capable at taking direction from you if that's what you prefer.

+Do I have to register a name?

You will need to register a domain name but we can help with that if you haven't already done so.

+Will I need hosting?

Hosting is important as this is where the website is stored. We can provide business level hosting solutions at very competitive rates. Not all hosting is created equal so check out our excellent package.

+What about the content?

We always recommend that the content should come from you as you probably know your own area of business better than we do. However, we can provide clear and structured guidance on the type of content to include, and how to improve its suitability for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

+What is the design process?

We work closely with you in a very organic process. We usually start with a conversation about your preferences and any strict guidelines such as company colours and go from there. Draft designs are created as images and you will always get the opportunity to change anything you don't like at this stage. All of our websites are completely bespoke and we strive to make them perfect for you.

+How much am I involved in the whole process?

We highly encourage your active involvement in the early and final stages of the project. You will have full creative control over your project and can speak to us at any stage for a status update.

+Can I edit my own content?

Yes! If you feel that this would be of benefit to you, there are many options available to implement that will allow the editing of content by non technical users. We work with most of the popular packages (e.g. Wordpress) and have also created custom Content Management Systems (CMS).

+How can I appear at the top of Google or any other search engine?

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is an art form and we can give you all the tactical advantages. All of our sites are optimised for initial search engine submission. After that we can help with the ongoing process of SEO and help set you up with Google Adwords and Google Local Business Listings to get you straight to the top.

+Can I have professional looking email addresses like info@mycompany.com?

Of course! We will set up these for your free of charge as part of our hosting package.

+How long does it take?

This varies greatly depending on the size and type of the project. We have worked on sites that have had a lifecycles from just a few weeks to over 6 months. We will always be able to give you an estimated timeline and completion date before work commences.

+What about flash animation?

Subtle animation can make a big difference to the look and feel of a website, but it is important not to overdo it. We can discuss your requirements and wishes and come up with a suitable solution. Flash isn't the only option available!

+How much does it cost?

This varies greatly depending on the size and type of the project. We are happy to provide quotes free of charge with no commitment.

+What is web 2.0?

Web 2.0 is not about new technology as much as about how we use existing technology. It is heavily based in web design and development that pushes the boundaries of user-centric design, interactivity and information sharing. Social networking sites such as Facebook are a good example of websites using the Web 2.0 philosophy.

+What if my website breaks?

We fully test our sites in the major browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox) and won't take final payment until you are happy it is working how it should. We also offer an initial warranty period of 3 months on all functionality of the site.

+Can I have an online shop?

Of course! We use the latest packages for e-commerce which will give you a clear advantage over the competition.

+Can I accept card payments online?

Most definitely. We can advise you on the most cost effective way to accept card payments online and help you through the process.
